Enjoying the View

"I want to do something different."  This was my mantra when I woke up this morning.  Last night, I could barely go to sleep, for all the ideas rushing through my mind.  Ways to create this, and new techniques for that...This is the "something different" I'm striving to accomplish; create my crafts, and make them available to the general public, so maybe one day, I can stay at home as much as I like, and work on things that I love.

Just as an introduction, I am a newlywed of 8 months, and while I hate to admit it, I absolutely LOVE staying home.  My husband calls me a "homebody", and I used to deny the fact fiercely.  "What do you mean I'm a homebody? I enjoy going out with friends, and meeting new people, and seeing new sights! Oh yes, I do! I'm not a homebody! In fact, I'm the opposite! I'm a social butterfly, just waiting to step out of my comfort zone and take on the world!"  Let's just say, I haven't taken on the world yet.  While I agree that I enjoy being a social creature, making new friends, and keeping them, I have to say that at the the back of my mind during every social encounter is the thought, "I wanna be at home, sipping coffee, and reading a good book."

Some may feel sorry for me and my lack of social ambition, but as I see it, the best view in the world is the views I enjoy from the windows in my home.  That is not to say that I won't take a spontaneous road trip tomorrow, and love every minute of it.  It simply means that I am no longer struggling with my identity as a "homebody". No, this contented mindset is not a flaw; rather, I believe that my home is one of the great joys of my life.  That's the simple reason why I'm here, on a blog, attempting to sell my wares through online sources- because, quite honestly,  I simply love being home.   My name is Brittany, and the purpose of this blog is to show you, and tell you about my journeys in life, specifically as it pertains to Whimsical Dream Creations.  Stay tuned in for future pictures and blogs showing you my latest craft creations that I will be selling on ebay.com.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to meet a great many of you soon!
